This comprehensive program gives your group the advanced skills and structures needed to fully establish a dynamic culture of collaboration.  You will be able to continuously adapt to changes in your environment, produce exceptional results and attract the resources and partners you need for achieving your mission. Core Program: 90 Day Program
This transformative program combines new information, state-of-the-art tools, and deep experiences that inform, inspire and move people to create profoundly more effective ways of working together. You will create a powerful shared identity and common language for creating a more cohesive, and energized group with an authentic collaborative culture. Inspiring Change: One Day Program
This introductory program creates a shift in what is possible in your group and provides the experiences necessary to begin any culture transformation. You will leave the program with a clear group vision and success identity that provides powerful common ground and immediate improvements in communication and efficiency. You’ll also have the basic agreements that generate trust and support ongoing improvements. Details

Alchemy of Meetings: Half-Day Program
This program solves the problem of stagnant, unproductive meetings by changing the meeting mindset. Beyond learning the principles of effective meetings, your group will establish the agreements and structures necessary for making them a reality. You will be equipped to routinely hold meetings that save time, create better results and energize your team. Alchemy of Leadership Online Training
This program provides a supportive interactive learning community of fellow leaders and the convenience of online participation. You will develop your authentic leadership style that facilitates greater success with less effort. You will create a vision for your group and yourself as a leader, devise strategies for developing the creative alchemy in all your teams – throughout the executive and staff levels, and you will be able to transform any situation into cooperative engagement and avoid the common pitfalls that beset most groups.  Details

 

Leaders’ Circle

Anyone who completes a Group Alchemy program has the option of joining the Leaders’ Circle community of practice.

For people committed to improving their individual skills in creating successful groups, our Leaders’ Circle adds velocity to your process. New skills take practice to become habits. Sharing insights, experiences and questions along the way helps you assess your progress, get unstuck when needed, and stay inspired about what is possible. Details

PROGRAM DESIGN

All our programs are based on a commitment to substance and relevance. They are structured around accelerated learning methods that are dynamic and interactive. We combine multiple learning modalities (personal reflection, small group experiences, presentation and discussion of new information, problem solving and case studies) that meet diverse learning styles. These programs are not conventional training; they are development experiences.

Our methodology is also contextual – in all programs we work with real issues facing your group rather than abstractions. You will have the opportunity to resolve some of the particular obstacles in the way of your success while building the skills to prevent such problems in the future.

Each program is completed through learning-based action planning that creates commitment to next steps that carry the developments from the workshop forward.

PROGRAM DETAILS

 

Group to Gold Program Details
This dynamic and practical program provides the full scope of activities you need to create a quantum leap forward in your effectiveness. We begin with three one-day programs scheduled over three months. We work through the complete formula together to distinguish the practices of collaboration you need and apply them to fit your group (see the Core Practices Program below). Then we provide you with the ongoing support you need each month to establish the cultural habits that create lasting success.

Your group will:

  • Develop skills in the transformational dimensions of each of the core practices of group effectiveness.
  • Build mastery in collaboration, individually and collectively, that ensures the full employment of all the talents in your group.
  • Establish a learning culture that remains flexible and adaptive, capable of generating the creativity and responsiveness necessary for your ongoing success.
  • Institutionalize high quality communication, trust, compassion and total accountability.
  • Establish the structures and practices for staying energized and inspired.

Program Structure

Phase I:  Core Program
Three one-day programs scheduled over 3 months.  Your group will work through each element in the Formula for Group Alchemy® to create the practices that work for you. We will work with real issues facing your group and resolve obstacles to your success while building the skills necessary to prevent those problems in the future. You will leave with a comprehensive structure in place that ensures your ongoing success.

Phase II: Transforming Learning into Habits and Customs
The alchemy of collaboration is a new way of working together that takes time to build into cultural habits. Ongoing support over 9 months ensures that your new learning and group agreements become habits and that you don’t fall into old, comfortable – but limiting – patterns of behavior. We jointly design the specifics of Phase II based on your group’s unique needs and situation. Phase II activities include:

Observation Facilitation
We attend your regular group meetings to observe and provide real-time interventions that turn typically unproductive moments into profitable results. You will be better equipped to institutionalize the new practices.

Group Coaching
Phone or in-person sessions with the group to provide additional assistance in identifying and transforming limiting patterns of behavior.

Executive Coaching
Personal support for the formal group leader and other members as desired to support the personal skills and habits needed in the group.

Facilitation Training
Training in expert facilitation methods are necessary skills to improving performance and ensuring that meetings are creating the culture that you want.

Renewal Retreat
We facilitate a retreat at the end of the year to assess and evaluate progress, revise and update agreements and create an action plan for expanding on the power of the group during the next year.
    
Additional Focused Development Options:
Short (half or full-day) development programs can be scheduled as needed in particular areas that address specific issues facing the group. These include: communication and conflict, decision-making and problem solving methods, working with diversity, meetings and facilitation training.

Core Program: 90 Day Program Details
In this dynamic program you work through each element of the Formula for Group Alchemy® to establish your version of the habits of success that apply to your specific situation and support the full engagement of everyone in your group. You will collectively define your group’s vision, a values-based group identity and a structure of core agreements that will support achieving your goals. As we work together, real obstacles to your effectiveness will surface and we will resolve them into structures for success.

Your group will:

  • Create compelling shared vision, values and mission conversations/statements for the team that unify and energize your work.
  • Create structures of agreements and commitments to practices that sustain learning and development.
  • Resolve, or at least significantly advance several issues that hamper your group’s effectiveness.
  • Build skill in handling breakdowns as they occur in ways that actually strengthen the group and maintain open communication.
  • Create an action plan to implement new habits, resolve issues efficiently and work proactively to prevent problems from developing.
  • Expand your group’s flexibility and responsiveness to changes in the environment.

Program Structure: This program is structured around three one-day programs over three months. Each day builds on the previous one with time in between to apply learning and bring your experience back to the group for further development. The program begins with an assessment of the existing situation in the group to facilitate customizing the program to fit your situation and to evaluate progress at the end of the program. Executive Strategy Sessions support the leader in furthering the transformation process. Activities include:

Pre-Assessment: A short survey and brief questionnaire is provided to each group member.

Day I:  Foundations of High-Level Collaboration: Inspiration and Agreements
In this program you will articulate your vision for your team and define the structure of values and agreements for working together.

Day II:  Organizational Learning and Excellence: Accountability and Acknowledgment
This program establishes the structure for a culture of learning and responsibility. You will establish practices that cultivate confidence and trust and inspire excellence.

Day III: Sustaining Success: Renewal and Mastery    
Here you will deepen your knowledge base and establish structure for sustaining ongoing improvement, innovation, flexibility and expanding what is possible in your group.

Executive Strategy Sessions: Two one-hour phone strategy sessions between Dr. Pruitt and the leader of the group are offered between Day 1 and II and between Day II and III. This provides an opportunity to help you assess what is happening in the group and how to encourage the transformational process in the period before the next program day.

Post-Assessment: A short survey is provided to each group member and a summary evaluation is provided to the group.

Inspiring Change: One Day Program Details          
This interactive program begins with an overview of the Formula for Group Alchemy®. Then we dive deeply into the first two elements of the transformation process – Inspiration and Agreements – to establish a solid foundation for drawing people together in common purpose and to provide a structure for continuing your development.

Your group will:

  • Understand the complete set of practices that keep groups moving toward ever increasing success.
  • Create a clear and compelling inspiration practice for the group that keeps everyone energized and focused on your common purpose and commitments.

Leaders’ Circle Program Details
This program offers a community of support within the framework of the Formula for Group Alchemy to help you to establish the skills and mindset needed to lead the transformation of your group into a collaborative, cohesive, high-performing group. These bi-monthly strategy and Q&A calls will help you to identify current ways of being and limiting beliefs that are in the way of realizing the future you want so you can consistently come from your vision of what is possible. This is the most important role of the leaders and by strengthening your practices in each element of the formula, you will find it easier to guide your group members into the most effective behaviors for your group’s goals. This program includes an online members’ only forum so you can have easy access to your fellow alchemists for quick input and support. Calls are recorded so you don’t miss a thing even if you can’t attend live calls.

You will:

  • Strengthen your ability to address what is happening in your group at any time.
  • Experience the confidence and enthusiasm to make a difference in ways that you did not know that you could.
